Of this number of cases, 78 pulmonary and 8 non-pulmonary
occurred in East Greenwich, 27 pulmonary and 6 non-pulmonary
in West Greenwich, 9 pulmonary and 4 non-pulmonary in
St. Nicholas, 33 pulmonary and 7 non-pulmonary in Charlton,
and 5 pulmonary and 2 non-pulmonary in Kidbrooke. The
various ages of the patients were as follow :■—Pulmonary cases
from one to five, 1 case ; five to fifteen, 13 cases ; fifteen to
twenty-five, 42 cases ; twenty-five to forty-five, 52 cases ; fortyfive
to sixty-five, 37 cases : and 7 cases over sixty-five ; whilst
the Non-pulmonary were :—Between one and five years, 9 cases ;
five to fifteen, 5 cases ; fifteen to twenty-five, 6 cases ; twentyfive
to forty-five, 6 cases ; forty-five to sixty-five, 1 case.
Four hundred and eight specimens were forwarded by
medical practitioners for bacteriological investigation from
patients suspected to be consumptive ; 323 were reported to be
negative and 85 positive.
Disinfection has been offered and carried out in 134
cases, including 185 rooms and 344 articles of bedding, etc. ;
disinfectant has also been supplied to patients to disinfect
sputum, etc., and sputum pots where such are found necessary.

DISINFECTION.
The Disinfecting and Cleansing premises were erected in
June, 1924, and are situate at Tunnel Avenue, Blackwall Lane,
East Greenwich.
