The Health Visitors also visited 3,979 cases, and re-visited
when required.

The 1-ton Ford lorry which is fitted with interchangeable
bodies for the conveyance of articles both before and after
disinfection, has been in constant use during the year, and has
greatly facilitated the handling of infected and disinfected articles.
CLEANSING STATION, BLACKWALL LANE.
The new Cleansing Station which forms part of the Disinfecting
premises was opened in June, 1924, and is situate at
at Tunnel Avenue, Blackwall Lane, East Greenwich.
The arrangements made with the London County Council
for reserving the use of the Cleansing Station on Mondays and
Thursdays for the cleansing of verminous school children continue
in operation.
