TUMOUR DIAGNOSTIC CLINIC.
The Clinic was opened in October, 1927, and for the year
ending 31st December, 1928, was attended ,by 31 patients (6
men and 25 women), who made 49 attendances. In addition,
there were several inquiries from patients residing in other
Boroughs.
Of the 31 patients, 4 were sent by medical men, 5 came
on the recommendation of other patients, the remainder attended
as the result of propaganda in the form of leaflets, booklet's
("Better Health"), and from time to time articles in the local
Press.
Besides these, circular letters were sent out to all medical
men in the Borough; to all the large works and factories;
and again to all clergv with the request that the letters might
be included in their Church Magazine.
