during the year 128 Heaf skin tests were carried out on child contacts
mainly,and 46 contacts were considered suitable for B.C.G. vaccination.
STAFFING ARRANGEMENTS:
In September, 1962, Miss A. Phelps was appointed to act as Health
Visitor in addition to the duties of Social Worker and Secretary of the
Tuberculosis Care Committee which she has been carrying out since the
beginning of 1961.
This appointment is in accordance with the Chest Physician's
recommendations made to the London County Council three years ago.
