Milk
The regular sampling of milk for chemical analysis and bacteriological
examination has continued to be carried out from shops, milk
depots, roundsmen, schools and day nurseries. The number of routine
inspections of dairies and milk shops during 1958 involved 261 visits.

Channel Island Milk
Since the introduction of the statutory standard for Channel
Island milk, samples have been taken throughout the year and the
average for all these samples were as under:-
