ordered to pay £1 10 costs.
Bacteriological Examination of Food
The pathological laboratory in the Health Centre was used when
ever possible during the year for the routine examination of various
types of food and whenever suspicion of contamination arose.
During the past year several types of foodstuffs have been sub-mitted for bacteriological examination in addition to the usual routine examination of milk and ice cream as indicated in the following list

Some of the samples have been submitted as the result of com
plaints from the general public but in many cases it has been thought
necessary to have detailed checking of the quality of the product from
a bacteriological aspect Foods which have been submitted in this
latter category are as follows.
