The average non-fatty solids content was 8.66 per cent.

Although 24 premises are registered for the manufacture of
ice cream, only 3 premises were so used during 1954. Five additional
premises were registered for the storage and sale of ice cream during
the year.
Standard for Ice Cream.
One sample of ice-cream was submitted to the Public Analyst
and complied with the prescribed standard.
