Food
Food Hygiene.
The Food Inspector comments and gives advice to traders and
their employees during his visits to the various food premises, as do
the Inspectors visiting factories where the canteens are included in
their inspections.
The number of food premises in the Borough, by type of business is as under:—

Adulteration of Food.
A total of 581 samples of food and drugs were submitted to
the Public Analyst during the year. Of these, 4 were formal and 577
were informal samples.
