Food Poisoning.
Twenty-eight cases of Food Poisoning were notified during the
year. There were no deaths.
There were no outbreaks of Food Poisoning due to identified
causes during the year.
One outbreak due to an unidentified cause occurred as under:—
Domestic (September). 4 cases notified. Suspected cause:
Pork/Pork Dripping.
Apart from the outbreak detailed above, the following individual
cases were investigated:
Agent identified:
1 (November). Salmonella Enteritidis (Variety Jena).
Agent not identified:
1 in January.
1 in February.
1 in March.
3 in April.
2 in July.
2 in August.
1 in November.
1 in December.
Agent not identified but possible cause:
Pork and Turkey eaten cold January

Dinner eaten at school February
