RAT REPRESSION: No.of complaints and requests for treatment received - 605.
No.of additional premises found infested - 572. No.of houses treated - 1075.
No.of other premises treated - 699. No.of visits made by rat-catchers to
houses - 7,994 and to other premises - 6,313.
Two treatments of the Council's sewers were carried out during the
year and although the record of bait takes suggests the rat population remains
high, it is considerably lower than it was before regular treatments commenced.
