Meat and Other Foods.
The work of meat inspection continues to be carried out by
Mr. Penman, who is assisted generally by Mr. Barber.
There is a considerable number of wholesale meat and offal
shops and other food premises in the Borough, and the two inspectors
are kept fully employed. Regular inspection of the butchers'
shops and market streets is carried out by Mr. Penman.
