has always existed between the L.C.C. Hospital Maternity Departments
and the Council's Clinics and, following upon a series of conferences
between the Borough Medical Officer and the County Medical Officer,
certain improved arrangements have been made for interchange of
information and the prevention of overlapping. During the year, also,
a closer link between the County Council and the Borough Council
maternity services was established by the association of the Council's
Maternity and Child Welfare Officer, Dr. Hill, in an honorary capacity
with the maternity department of St. Alfege's Hospital.
Ante-Natal Clinics. The work of the ante-natal Clinics during recent year is illustrated by the following figures.
