14. Infant Life Protection
In order to discharge the duties of registration and inspection of
Fostermothers and Fosterchildren the Deptford Borough Council has
appointed each of its seven District Health Visitors as an Infant
Protection Visitor, and Dr. S. E. Hill, Maternity and Child Welfare
Officer, is also authorised to visit.
The following table shows the numbers on the Register during the year under report:—
