Post-Natal Clinic.
This branch of the work is conducted every Tuesday forenoon.

Amongst the patients seen the following defects were found and
dealt with :—
Albuminuria 2 Mastitis 4
Anaemia 6 Retroversion 12
Breast Abscess or Inflamed Subinvolution 2
Nipple 4 Unhealed tears of cervix 2
Fibroid 4 Unhealed tears of perineum 2
Haemorrhoids ... ... 7
Remedial exercises were taught to 109 patients.
In connection with both the ante-natal and post-natal work close
co-operation is maintained with medical practitioners, midwives and
hospitals.

St. John's Home. A voluntary ante-natal clinic, amongst
other activities, is provided at the St. John's Home, Watson street,
and co-operation exists between this clinic and the municipal clinic.
The following particulars have been kindly given to me :—

(c) Artificial Light Clinic. Both the Mercury Vapour and the
Carbon Arc type lamps are in use, and, in order to bring this form
of treatment more up to date, it has been decided to instal a centrallyplaced
Mercury Vapour lamp together with two ancilliary lamps of the
" Sollux " type, to aid the efficiency of Ultra-violet radiation. All
children given this form of treatment are selected upon medical grounds
and are kept under careful supervision.
