Ice Cream
Seven samples of ice cream were submitted, to the Methylene Blue
Test and graded as follows:-
Grade 1 2
Grade 2 2
Grade 3 1
Grade 4 2
The sample graded 3 was followed by further samples from the.
manufacturer concerned; these samples were reported as satisfactory.
In the case of the two samples graded 4, one retailer ceased
the manufacture of ice cream and the other case was referred to the
/
borough concerned.
SECTION E
PREVALENCE OF, AND CONTROL OVER, INFECTIOUS DISEASE
The total number of notifications of infectious disease,
excluding Food Poisoning, during 1964 was 546 as compared with
442 in 1963 and 662 in 1962.
The number of cases notified is shown in Table 9 which follows
and requires no special comment
