Premises Result of Proceedings
4 , Falcon Buildings Withdrawn
A Closing Order was granted by the Justices in respect of No. 3,
Granby Street and £3. 0s. 0d. costs were awarded to the Council.
In 16 cases summonses Were Withdrawn owing to the nuisances being
abated prior to the date of hearing, the defendants paying expenses amounting to
£31.10s. 0d.
Other legal proceedings were as follows
Housing Act, 1957
(i) Permitting front basement room to be occupied as sleeping accommodation
by 7 persons.
(ii) Permitting back basement room to be occupied as sleeping accommodation
by 5 persons.
Defendant was fined a total of £6 , with £3. 3s. 0d. costs.
