(3) Milk Sampling
During 1951 a total of 30 formal and 79 informal samples of
milk were submitted to the Public Analyst for examination, all of
which were reported as genuine. In addition, 50 samples of heat
treated milk were submitted to tests the results of which are set
out in Table 6.

(b) Meat and Other Foods
Arising out of the 1,491 visits paid to shops, stalls and
other premises where food is sold, prepared for sale or stored,
a total of 66 notices were served in relation to unsatisfactory
conditions found to exist in such premises within the Borough.
