(e) Preservatives in Food.
The routine practice under which all samples of milk, butter,
margarine and cheese submitted to the Public Analyst, are examined
for the presence of a preservative was continued throughout the
year and in no instance was a preservative found to be present.
(f) Ice-Cream.
Details of registration of Ice-Cream Premises required under Section 14 are set out hereunder.

In this connection 334 visits to the premises were carried out
during 1950 and in 28 instances notices were served with regard to
insanitary conditions in some of these premises.
