(3) Milk Sampling.
During 1950 a total of 60 formal and 87 informal samples of
milk were submitted to the Public Analyst for examination, all of
which were reported as genuine. In addition, 36 samples of heat
treated milk were submitted to tests the results of which are set out
in Table 11.

(b) Meat and Other Foods.
Arising out of the 2,049 visits paid to shops, stalls and other
premises where food is sold, prepared for sale or stored, a total of
246 notices were served in relation to unsatisfactory conditions
found to exist in such premises within the Borough.
