OFFICE HYGIENE.
Special attention has been directed in recent years
to the need for a prescribed minimum of hygiene in
offices similar to that which is enforced in factories
and other workplaces. It is obvious that the clerk
needs the protection of the law with regard to such
working conditions as heating, ventilation, lighting,
underground workrooms, overcrowding and sanitary
accommodation, equally as much as other workers.
