CONVALESCENT TREATMENT.
During the year, there was an increase in the
number of recommendations for convalescent treatment
for nursing mothers and children.
Mothers:
The bed reserved at the Zachary Merton Convalescent
Home, Rustington, was kept occupied
during the nine months of its availability, and the
London Mothers Convalescent Home, Sunningdale,
also provided vacancies. Seventeen mothers went to
Rustington and fifteen to Sunningdale, total 32
compared with 20 during 1937.
