In continuation of the record of progress of housing schemes given in last, year's report, I furnish the following summary of action taken in 1936 :—

Busby Sq.1679Declared to be Clearance Area not suitable for redevelopment for housing purposes. Ministry of Health Enquiry held.-
Voss Street--Area cleared.-
Ada Place & Pritchards Road--Tenders accepted for erection of blocks 1 and 2 (87 tenements). Block 1 in course of erection.
Darling Row147989Represented and Clearance and Compulsory Purchase Orders made.
Dinmont Estate--Blocks 1, 2 & 3 completed. Tender accepted for Block 4 (60 tenements) now in course of erection.
