Miss Le Geyt reports:
"A feature of the work in 1936 has been the need
for extending, on medical grounds, the Home Help's
service beyond the allotted two weeks. This has
been greatly appreciated by the invalid and the household
in all the 50 cases supplied with extensions of
the service.
Emergency applications for Home Helps were
arranged in response to requests from the Lady
Almoners of nearby hospitals at the time of discharge
of patients after confinement, and also on the recommendation
of the Medical Officers of the Maternity
Clinics."
