HEALTH TALKS.
Informal talks likely to help mothers attending
the Centres have been given at intervals throughout
the year. The subject matter has been simple and
stress laid on the practical application of each talk.
Questions and discussion follow the talks and a real
interest is shown by the mothers.
We are glad to acknowledge our debt to the
College of Nursing for sending us a number of senior
Health Visitor students to give some of these talks.
Subjects may be classified as follows :—
The Mother's Welfare.
Preparation for Confinement.
Maternity Services in Bethnal Green.
Preparation for Breast Feeding.
Care of the Teeth.
Diet (balance and choice).
