APPENDIX I.
LEGAL PROCEEDINGS.
During the year, 35 summonses were heard in
respect of nuisances, with the following results :—
Withdrawn on payment of costs amounting to :—

In one instance a closing order was made.
It was also found necessary in one case to obtain
a Distress Warrant for the recovery of costs.
