There were 101 sessions for dealing with applications

at the Welfare Centre in connection with this
subject.
During the year the following quantities of milk

In connection with the work of the Council's
Centres dried milk of various brands, labelled specially

HYGIENIC CLOTHING.
The Welfare Centres continue their useful service
of1 helping mothers to obtain more hygienic clothing
for their children. Garments recommended by the
Central Council for Child Welfare are exhibited at
the Centre and are eagerly copied by mothers and there
is no doubt that the Council's educational work in
this respect is doing much to raise the standard in
young children's clothing.
