Of these, 268 were of persons whose residence was
not in Bethnal Green, dying in Bethnal Green Institutions
or in other places in the Borough.
There were also reported to me 262 deaths of
Bethnal Green persons who died in institutions in other
parts of London or in other parts of England and
Wales.
The foregoing figures gve the net number of deaths
for Bethnal Green as 1,317, making an annual deathrate
of 11.7 per 1,000 of population.
The death-rate for Bethnal Green, 11.7 compares
with 11.6 for the County of London and 11.7 for
England and Wales as a whole.
