The contract with the London County Council, referred to
above, provides for the payment by them of 2s. per verminous
case and 1s. per scabies case treated, with a minimum payment
of £400 per annum. Towards the end of the year negotiations
were opened with the County Council with a view to the
payments being increased, in consequence of the ever-increasing
cost of maintaining the Station and the fact that the scale had
remained unaltered since the agreement was originally made in
1921
The Council, at their meeting on the 23rd May, decided, on
the recommendation of the Health Committee, to' accede, until
further order, to a request of the Divisional Medical Officer, No. 9
Division, London County Council, for the use of the Station for
the treatment of a small number of children suffering from minor
ailments, without charge.
