TUBERCULOSIS.
During the year ended 31st December, 1934, there were 236
cases of Tuberculosis (all forms) notified in Battersea as compared
with 238 cases in 1933, 246 in 1932, 255 in 1931, and 286 in 1930.
In addition 33 cases were reported, or otherwise came to the
knowledge of the Medical Officer of Health during the year, making
a total of 269 cases.

The following table (required by the Ministry of Health) shows the age and sex distribution of the 269 cases of Tuberculosis notified or otherwise reported during the year ended 31st December, 1934, and the 132 deaths registered as due to the disease.
