A Post-natal clinic has been established at the Hospital where
women who have been confined therein may attend for examination
six weeks after confinement. During 1933 there were 47 sessions
held and 491 attendances were made, 487 being new cases. The
average attendance per session was 10.4.
Arrangements have been made for Mr. F. W. Roques, M.S.,
F.R.C.S., of the Middlesex Hospital, to act as Consultant Obstetrician
and his services are available in cases of grave emergency.
It was found necessary to call in the services of the Consultant
Obstetrician in 15 cases during the year as compared with 12 cases
in 1932.
During 1933, 543 cases were admitted to the Hospital as compared
with 552 cases in 1932, 555 in 1931, 516 in 1930, 605 in 1929
and 653 in 1928.

Of the above cases, 4 patients were admitted for ante-natal
treatment prior to re-admission at a later date for confinement.
