The staff of the Public Health Department at 31st December,
1931, is set out on pages 3 and 4. During the year the only change
in personnel which took place was the appointment in June of
Dr. Lorna G. Bach, m.r.c.s., l.r.c.p., as Resident Medical Officer
of the Borough Maternity Hospital, in place of Dr. H. Mower White,
resigned.
Coroner's Court and Mortuary.
Details of the work carried out at the Coroner's Court and the
Public Mortuary are set out in the table on page 83.
During the year the Health Committee had under consideration
a proposal for the installation of refrigerating equipment at the
Mortuary, and it is hoped that it may be found possible in the
near future to provide this useful addition to the equipment.
