Hospital for special observation. He was a married man with
three children, and he was worried as to how his wife would manage
whilst he was in Hospital, as his pay ceased when he gave up work,
and he had already received two weeks of the insurance and club
benefit. His wife was suffering from acute rheumatism and unable
to work. The Committee were able to obtain an early vacancy for
him and financial assistance for the family during his absence, also
the clothing he needed for hospital treatment. He was eventually
discharged from Hospital and was able to resume his former work,
and is now attending the Dispensary at intervals for observation.
