Four new male outworkers' premises (not previously
registered) were registered during the year, and 21 were removed
from the register.
There were 87 inspections made of male outworkers' premises
during 1931, and it was found necessary to serve notices under the
Public Health (London) Act, 1891, in 11 cases to remedy sanitary
defects found on inspection, viz.:—Defective or dirty w.c. 4
cleansing 5; defective roof 1; defective ashbin 1. Two statutory
notices were also served and complied with.
No case of infectious disease was notified during 1931 fron
premises occupied by male outworkers.
