District Midwifery Service.
During 1930 there were 112 cases † attended in their own homes
by the District Midwife as compared with 124 in the previous year, a
decrease of 12 cases.

† Early in 1931 this service showed evidence of rapid increase, probably
due to the closing of the district service conducted at St. John's House,
