[Report of the Medical Officer of Health for Battersea Borough.

deaths belonging to the Borough was 2,294 (males 1,154, females
1,140). This gives a recorded death-rate of 14.2 compared with
14.1 for London, and 13.4 for England and Wales.
According to the factor supplied by the Registrar-General,
ror correction of death-rate in reference to age and sex distribution,
the corrected death-rate for Battersea during 1929 was 13.7.
