Milk.
Of the 671 samples of milk (including 3 informal samples and
3 of separated milk) 21 or 3.1 per cent, were reported as adulterated,
9 of these samples being deficient in milk fat and 12 containing
extraneous water. The greatest deficiency in milk fat amounted
to 18 per cent, and the highest proportion of extraneous water
was 13 per cent.
