During the year 36 phials (approximately 136,000 units) of
diphtheria anti-toxin were supplied, on request, to medical practitioners
practising in the Borough.
Schick Test Clinic.
Summary of Work Carried Out, 1928.
As stated in my previous annual report a Schick test clinic
was established at the close of 1927, and has since been held weekly
at the Latchmere, and since November, at the Southlands Maternity
and Child Welfare Centre.
The work is carried on under the supervision of Dr. Mabel
Brodie, m.b., Ch.b., "d.p.h.
The result of the year's work is summarised as follows:—
