FOOD AND DRUGS ACT 1955 - INSPECTION AND SUPERVISION OF FOOD
This is the principal Act for controlling the composition,
labelling, fitness and hygienic handling of food. The Food Hygiene
(General) Regulations, 1960, and the Food Hygiene (Markets, Stalls and
Delivery Vehicles) Regulations, 1966 are the principal instruments
for enforcing good food hygiene practice.
