INFECTIOUS DISEASE
There was no serious outbreak of infectious disease in the borough
during 1967. The total number of notifications received was 1,109 in
comparison with 818 in 1966. The difference is almost entirely due to
the increase in the number of cases of measles notified in 1967 compared
with the previous year.
