with solid food and is toilet trained, and it is hoped that, with
further intensive care, he will be eligible for training centre
admission at five years of age.
On the basis of these and other results so far observed, there
is reason to believe that this nursery unit will be valuable in
preparing for training centre admission many young mentally retarded
children whose future placement might otherwise have been in doubt.
