INFECTIOUS DISEASE
There was no serious outbreak of infectious disease in the borough
during 1966. The total number of notifications received was 818 in
comparison with 1,421 in 1965. The difference is almost entirely due to
the decrease in the number of cases of measles notified in 1966 compared
with the previous year.
