considered insufficient for his needs, as continuous nursing attention
was necessary. Every endeavour was made to persuade him to enter a
hospital voluntarily, but he refused to go. In these circumstances,
application was made to a Justice of the Peace for an Order for
compulsory removal. The Order was granted and the man was removed
to St. Mary Abbots Hospital, where he died during the detention period.
