To the Mayor, Aldermen and Councillors of the
Royal Borough of Kensington.
Mr. Mayor, Ladies and Gentlemen,—
I have the honour to submit the Annual Report of the Medical Officer of
Health, which contains a summary of the vital statistics and the sanitary work for the
year 1918.
The Council have already expressed their appreciation of the ability with which
Dr. L. C. Parkes carried on the work in the Public Health Department in my absence
during the period under review, and it only remains for me to mention his kind
acknowledgment of the assistance he received from the Chief Sanitary Inspector,
the District Sanitary Inspectors and the remainder of the Staff of the Department.
