HEATING APPLIANCES (FIREGUARDS) ACT. 1952
During the year 51 inspections of stocks in premises selling new
and/or secondhand heating appliances were made In November a
reminder letter stressing the importance of complying with the Act
and Regulations made thereunder was sent to all stockists One
prosecution was taken the Court imposing a penalty of ten shillings.
