Works in Default Public Health (London) Act 1936
During i960 the Council's contractors carried out works in default
at 20 premises, the owners having failed to comply with Statutory Notices
served under the Public Health (London) Act 1936 The costs of
the work varied in individual cases from £2 12s 6d to £130 lis 8d
the total sum involved being £476 3s Id.
