Rent(Restrictions) Acts. In response to applications by the
22 certificates were issued during the year.
Aged, Infirm and Physically Incapacitated Persons. During the year
66 visits were paid by the woman sanitary inspector to aged persons.
Rat Repression. During the year 1943, 2542 visits were made and
poison laid in 35& sewers; 1134 rats are known to have been
destroyed. During July: a special inspection was made of all
factory and food premises and advice given regarding rat infestation.
In November participation in the scheme for poisoning the rats in
sewers, sponsored by the Ministry of Food was begun.
