AMBULANCE FACILITIES
This service is under the control of the London County Council, a depot being situated in
the Borough at the Western Hospital, Seagrave Road.
CLINIC AND TREATMENT CENTRES
There have been no changes in the arrangements for Clinics during the year. The following
is the list of Clinics in the Borough, all of which, except the Massage Clinic, are provided by the
Borough Council. In addition, there are School Treatment Centres controlled by Voluntary Committees
at Bagley's Lane and Bishop Creighton House, Lillie Road, and a L.C.C. Cleansing Station in
Seddlescombe Road. Pre-school children and nursing and expectant mothers are admitted to the
Treatment Centres for optical treatment and children to the L.C.C. Station for cleansing and
treatment of scabies; in each case the Borough Council makes a per capita payment of 2/- and 1/respectively.
Treatment for Scabies in Adults is given at the Medicinal Baths of the Kensington
Borough Council at a cost to this Council of 1 /- per treatment.
