The Gloving Class met thirty-nine times during the year, a total of 235 attendances being made.
Gloves were shown at the exhibition of Handicrafts made at some of the London Tuberculosis Dispensaries,
which was held in Kensington Town Hall in March, when the class was honoured by an
order from H.M. Queen Mary.
The usual autumn Sale was held at the Dispensary early in November and was very successful.
The total sales of gloves direct from the Dispensary during the year amounted to £56 12s. 4d.
An afternoon's outing was arranged for the class in July, when they went to Kew and back
by river from Westminster and spent some time in the Gardens.
Conclusion.
I have much pleasure in recording my appreciation of the work done and help given by all
members of the Dispensary Staff during the past year, both as regards routine business and also in
connection with the Christmas Seals Sale.
The latter, considering it to be an entirely new venture in Fulham, can be described as distinctly
successful and reflects great credit on the Secretary and her helpers in organisation. It has
made possible the inauguration of the Handicraft Class, and I venture to hope that further Sales
will be equally successful in order that the Class may increase and its activities extend.
