Women's Holiday Fund.
The Women's Holiday Fund performs a valuable
service to the mothers and children of the Borough,
and provides a fortnight's wonderful holiday where
this would otherwise be quite impossible. Those
of us who have holidays as a matter of course can
scarcely understand that thousands of women in
this country never have a holiday from the incessant
work and worry unavoidably associated with a
home where the income is small The Committee
and the Council have reason to be grateful to this
Fund for its good work and its beneficial effect on
the homes in the Borough.
Charitable Organisations.
We have received great help in our work from
the Charity Organisation Society, the Invalid
Children's Aid Association, and the Invalid Kitchens
