Maternal Mortality.
During the year investigations were made into
the causes of death in nine cases of Maternal
Mortality and the reports were transmitted to the
Maternal Mortality Committee.

The following is a list of the cases with the causes of death:—

(b) Pregnancy.
Wife of a labourer35May 29th, in hospital1.(a) Ac. oedema of lungs.
(b) Eclampsia.
